Job Scope:

We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team. The Software Developer will be working with other developers to create the next generation of workflow automation software in post-production. They will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable solutions that meet the needs of our clients and support the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software that automates post-production workflows
  • Collaborate with the software team to identify areas where software tools can improve workflow efficiency and implement solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide best practices for software development
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for software tools and workflows
  • Collaborate with other departments, including data operators, editors, artists, and producers, to ensure smooth integration of software solutions with existing workflows
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve software development practices
  • Technical B.S. or equivalent professional experience
  • Required Skills/Competencies:
  • 2+ years of experience in software development
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Strong knowledge of Python
  • Experience with containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for learning and continuous improvement
  • Preferred Skills/Competencies:
  • Previous experience in a post-production facility
  • Familiarity with common post-production software APIs, such as Media Shuttle, Aspera/Faspex, ColorFront’s Transkoder, Davinci Resolve, FilmLight/BaseLight, and/or MediaPulse
  • Experience using Media Asset Management systems such as ShotGrid
  • JavaScript and Vue experience
Pay Range

: $112,000 - $135,000 / Per Year
