 Job Scope: 

 This role provides overall oversight of the HR systems, and data management and processes related to these systems, including how system modules interact with one another, and how the HR/Payroll system intersects with other 3rd party systems, internally and externally.   This role also supports both payroll and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as a technical point-of-contact for HR systems and assist with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Regular auditing of system processes for accuracy and oversight of data and data entry.
  • Provide regular monthly and quarterly HR reporting on a US and global level. 
  • Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. 
  • Assist HR Director with benefits administration including approving new hire enrollments, Annual Open Enrollment, qualified events, annual renewal changes, benefit audits and annual ACA reporting in ADP
  • Assist HR Manager with Leave of Absence Management
  • Administration of Benefits Billing on monthly basis and provide benefits administration backup to HR Director
  • Serve as back up support to HR Coordinator in processing New Hires, Transfers, Terminations and system changes in ADP including completion of paperwork, data entry and obtaining required signatures from management
  • Serve as backup support in recruitment process with job posting, background checks and candidate paperwork 
  • Work with Payroll Manager to serve as backup payroll support.  
  • Assist HR Manager with Workers Compensation reporting and management. 
  • Management of Transit Program including quarterly reimbursement and assisting in annual plan submission.
  • Assistance with HR projects as required


Skills/Experience Required:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience to include prior experience in HR administration, benefits administration and/or HR systems administration 
  • Prior experience with HR systems, to include set-up of HR modules within an HR/payroll system.
  • Prior experience with HR data entry into payroll and HR systems, to include knowledge on the data relationship and management between systems
  • HR Background in benefits, HR administration preferred; prior payroll experience a plus
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment and wage/hour laws 
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality while carrying out responsibilities. 
  • Results-Oriented, Detail Oriented and Deadline focused
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Prior experience in media, entertainment or technology organizations preferred 
  • Proficiency with systems to include capability to manage data and run reports.  Prior experience with ADP and ADP Workforce Now platform preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe and MS Office, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook

This job operates in a hybrid capacity with some remote work and some onsite work in a professional office environment.  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and reach with hands and arms.  The employee may also be required to lift product or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. 

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position may require long hours and some weekend work.
