The EMP Designs PD-8 is an eight-way practical dimmer designed for controlling tungsten and LED lighting fixtures. Housed in a compact 1U 19-inch rack-mountable enclosure, the unit delivers 400W per channel across eight individually switched outputs, with selectable leading-edge or trailing-edge dimming on a per-channel basis to ensure stable, flicker-free performance. Integrated LumenRadio CRMX control provides native wireless DMX connectivity without the need for an external receiver, and all outputs use Neutrik True1 high-power connectors for secure, vibration-resistant connections suited to stages and busy production environments. Built-in overcurrent and over-temperature protection on each channel ensures reliable operation under demanding conditions.
