A Collaboration With Panavision: David Procter, BSC

“It’s one of the most powerful mediums of art, I believe, that we have,” David Procter, BSC says of motion pictures. Having gotten his start in documentaries, the cinematographer has shot in some 45 countries around the globe. In his journeys, he has worked with a wide range of Panavision’s optics, and his collaborations with the Panavision group have also included projects with Panalux and Light Iron. In this video, Procter reflects on his career journey and the creative satisfaction he finds in moving between short- and long-form projects with crews and budgets of varying scales.
