Accounts Receivable Clerk - Woodland Hills, CA

The Accounts Receivable Clerk role will be responsible for the day to day creation of invoices, billing adjustments and credit memos issuing them in timely fashion to customers. In this role, the Billing Clerk will work closely with several key areas of the business to coordinate all supporting documentation and answers needed to compile the final daily, weekly, or bi-weekly invoicing and providing customer service on resolution of customer inquiries related to invoicing. 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Electronically filing and maintaining supporting billing documentation on all assigned production units for invoicing. 
•    Daily revenue generation (invoicing) and/or credit memo processing, and submit by electronic interchange or USPS mail when electronic distribution is not accepted.
•    Contacting Sales & Marketing, Rental Desks and/or productions for purchase orders to support invoicing. 
•    Assist direct manager as needed with compiling weekly revenue flash reporting and serve as back-up on month-end revenue accruals.
•    Back-up other staff members with billing; assisting or filling in for co-workers on the Billing Team when required due to workload and/or absences. 
•    Other tasks and duties as assigned by Manager.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

•    1-2 years of prior accounting experience is a plus. 
•    2 + years of administrative / billing experience is preferred.
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
•    Experience with Great Plains Accounting System is a plus.
•    Understanding of invoicing procedures. 
•    Basic clerical and administrative skills.
•    Basic operations of office equipment.
•    Detail Oriented; able to multi-task and prioritize work efficiently.
•    Highly organized; able to handle a high volume of work.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and accurately with customers internally and externally. 
•    Professional, Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
•    Clerical/administrative skills (typing, filing, phones).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Prompt and regular attendance is required, employees are expected to begin work at the start of their scheduled shift and to complete their assigned work shift according to the responsibilities of their position.

This position works standard business hours, but may require long hours and some weekend work.

Travel:

Some out-of-state/country and overnight travel may be expected.
