Introduced in 2007, Panavision G Series anamorphic lenses combine the compact convenience of the C Series with the optical innovations of the Primo Anamorphic series. G Series lenses are characterized by their high contrast, high resolution, balanced aberration control, excellent glare resistance, tightly controlled anamorphic squeeze ratio, low-maintenance cylindrical layout, and minimal breathing.

Optically comparable to Panavision Primo Anamorphic lenses, but in a lightweight, compact format similar to C Series anamorphic primes and spherical Primo primes.
Typical speed of T2.6 and close focus less than or equal to 3 feet.
Engraved focus and T-stop scales on both sides of the lens, with gears arranged in the standard Panavision locations.
Most G Series primes have a common front diameter of 113mm for streamlined lens changes.
