US Accounting Manager

Job Scope:   


Maintain accounting for US operations (Woodland Hills, Hollywood, New York City, and other Branches). Assist with US banking operations other than loan activity.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide accounting for US home office and branch operations.
  • Prepare and approve monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, and state sales tax filings.
  • Prepare and file various US tax reporting to respective authorities.
  • Review Manufacturing and Fixed Asset transactions prepared by Cost accountant.
  • Assist with CAPEX review submitted by operations.
  • Maintain Bank of America credit card administration. 
  • Assist with weekly flash reporting.
  • Assist with preparation of annual budget (AOP) and quarterly forecasting (3+9, 6+6, 9+3) reports.
  • Prepare annual auditor PBC schedules and answer auditor questions.
  • Assist with Panastore recordkeeping.
  • Perform variance analysis of financials and prepare presentation for management.
  • Perform Other tasks and assignments as required.

Skills/Experience Required:


  • Minimum four-year college degree in Accounting. (Advance degree or public accounting background   preferred.)
  • Minimum 5 – 10 years’ progressive work experience in multi-entity accounting environment.
  • Prior experience in cash management and tax compliance useful.
  • Knowledge of HFM and Dynamics Great Plains software helpful. 
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Prior supervisory responsibility required.
  • Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Active CPA or working toward certification preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and reach with hands and arms.  The employee may also be required to lift product or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. 


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


Prompt and regular attendance is required, employees are expected to begin work at the start of their scheduled shift and to complete their assigned work shift according to the responsibilities of their position.


This position works standard business hours, but may require long hours and some weekend work.




Some out-of-state/country and overnight travel may be expected.
