A two compartment horizontal unit for studios with a height restriction or where limited colour mixing is required. The unit is normally supplied with individual 7m power cables to each compartment and tilt pole operated stirrup which offers minimum obstruction in low height studios.
If the facility of coupling two 2 Iris units together to form an Iris 4 is required the Iris 4 stirrup must be specified. An alternative multicore power cable distribution system is available.
The Iris Top Light System is a major step forward in the lighting of studio and theatre cycloramas. One of the traditional problems of lighting is to obtain an evenly illuminated cyclorama and this usually involves the use of units at floor level and at the top of the cyclorama.
