The Dedo light has become the workman’s favourite tool on today’s set. They boast incredible range and efficiency thanks to their unique and ingenious optical design. The Dedo light comes in either the 150w kit which consists of 3 heads or the 100w that comes with 4.
With a 150W lamp in flood position, its light output is greater than a 450W fresnel studio fixture. In spot position, its output equals or exceeds a 1500W fresnel studio fixture. They have really superseded such lamps as the pepper through their compact size and precise punch.
Dedo kits find themselves needed from the smallest documentary to the largest scale features. Apart from the obvious advantages of being able to place a considerable kick so far away from the source, they are also cool enough to manipulate without the need for gloves, which makes them every DoP’s best friend.
