Panavision Federal Systems LLC is currently seeking a senior level mechanical design engineer with proven experience in the field of opto-mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of directly related experience designing complex optical systems and precision mechanisms used in the military and/or commercial markets.
The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary R&D team to design and develop innovative optical and imaging systems to our customers’ specification. Designs will be in the form of conceptual layouts, 3D models and drawing packages, therefore an excellent working knowledge of either PRO/E or SolidWorks is required.
This position is a key position within our group and as such, requires the combination of good project & people management skills as well as a strong background in design engineering.
Preference will be given to those individuals with a record of proficiency in designing in one of the following application areas: Opto-mechanics, Instruments, or other precision mechanical products.
