Panavision SSR Digital Transfer Station – PDTS
The Panavision® PDTS (Digital Transfer Station) is designed to enhance the workflow experience with the Panavision Solid State Recorder (SSR) by allowing for realtime creation of compressed or uncompressed files maintaining the SSR workflow. It provides the opportunities to simultaneously review the image, perform a preliminary “quality control” review directly on set, and generate an HDCAM SR master. All of this with the ease of single button operation.
With the PDTS you have real time creation of uncompressed files in DPX or Quicktime format. Compressed files can be created in a variety of formats including ProRes 4444, ProRes422 (HQ), ProRes422, ProRes(LT) and ProRes(Proxy). The DTS offers excellent storage capabilities with over 12.5 TB RAID6 storage. You have a choice of different connections to the transport hard drive including eSATA, Firewire 800, Firewire 400 and USB 2.0.
The SSR Digital Transfer Station comes complete with an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and reference monitor included.
