IT Help Desk Analyst - Tier 1 - Woodland Hills, CA

We’re looking for an IT helpdesk guru to provide internal support for employees and contractors. The candidate should have a mix of technical and customer service skills, as well as be passionate about technology and helping people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Tier 1 helpdesk escalations through tickets or phone
• Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
• Create accounts and configure hardware as part of the on-boarding process
• Support audio/visual equipment in conference rooms
• Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
• Occasional travel may be required

Skills/Experience Required:

• Windows 7/8/10, Business Apps and Office 365 Suite knowledge.
• Desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, computer peripherals, mobile devices (iOS, Android) setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience with desktop imaging, and desktop security products
• Relocation of workstations and peripherals.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and IP phones.
• Basic network troubleshooting.
• File server knowledge
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to research solutions or information regarding technical issues.
• Must be able to learn and support new and quickly-changing technologies.
• Good work habits under pressure.

This job operates in a professional office environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer; stand; walk; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee may also be required to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, bend, climb, push and pull carts when necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Prompt and regular attendance is required, employees are expected to begin work at the start of their scheduled shift and to complete their assigned work shift according to the responsibilities of their position.

This position works standard business hours, but may require long hours and some weekend work. On-call may also be required on a rotating basis.

Travel:

Some out-of-state/country and overnight travel may be expected.
